Lisa scraped past a 12 year old 64 in the third. But she's back playing!

That's great news.
Some actions defy the mere statement of their facts in the cold hard light of day.
This may be the biggest victory of her career.

Excellent news for Lisa and regardless of how far she is from match fitness and form......that still must be some 12 year old!

Sonay Kartal was the national champion (12U) this year. Lovely to have Lisa back on a competitive match court

All the very best to Lisa.

Of course it will take time. I just hope she really is now ready to build up in competitive matches. It was very sad when on her previous comeback attempt she had to resort to serving underarm.

It is great to get back playing competitively as long as it is not too frustrating.

In the semis, Lisa rook three sets to beat young qualifier, Maria Budin, and Dommie Covington beat Mollie Crouch.

So Lisa v Dommie tomorrow

As mentioned on the men's thread, think this is the last regular BT event this year and there is a £1,000 bonus for the girl at the top of the leaderboard after the event.
