The current British Tour event looks like being a Youth-fest :)
15 year-old Katie Swan, over from the US (for Wimbledon, I assume?) beat Lucy Brown in two easy sets.
16 year-old Anna Brogan beat Jess Simpson
15 year-old Ellie Rose Griffiths won
'Older' youngsters, Jasmine Amber Asghar and Harriet Dart, doing well . . .
Beth Askew probably feels like an old lady !
So, I'm thinking a Swan - Dart final is on the cards, and it could be an interesting match. Judging by the few clips of Katie that I've seen on YouTube, she already appears to have a game that should translate to success on the pro tour.
However, it appears the women's R2 matches were played on astroturf which very few players are comfortable on and which always throws up unexpected results.
Although I'd be absolutely amazed if Manisha wasn't going to make at least the qualifying play-offs anyway ( if she wants to ), and I'd have Freya in them too.

Me too.
The Lloyd Glasspool one in the boys is more important but I didn't want to just mention the lads, so put it in the girls too.
Alicia Barnett, who was ranked WR 1042 in 2012, and is now at Northwestern in Chicago, wins the battle of the college players (the top of the draw with Sophie Watts and Brigit Foland) and makes the semi-final at Ilkley. She'll play Nastasha Hillyer
Charlotte Pearce has beaten Beth Askew and , in the other semi, will play Aimee Gibson.
