Ward might win. But he probably won't. Is there anything else to say?

Not the nicest start to the season but it could have been worse.

I really feel that this needs to be the year for James to push on. He has been treading water for the last few years and he turns 27 in February. If he doesn't make the breakthrough this year you really have to wonder if it will ever happen.

Agreed. If he is ever going to make the next big breakthrough now's the time. With him and Dan roughly at the same ranking it should only hep to push them both on

My thoughts are that that looks a good win for James. An encouraging first match of the season, though I'd like now to see it followed up.

Excellent start for James, but need to follow up and pick up ranking points.

Jame's match fourth on court 6 tomorrow morning. Matches start at 12:30am so around 5-6am start?

Nice win by Mr Ward. Good opening to the year - and a not impossible match following on.

On another note, nice article talking about Brisbane-bound Fleming and Hutchins: www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2013/12/52/New-Doubles-Teams-For-2014.aspx
