Cam has had 9 break points in N'Godrela's first two service games and leads *3-0, having held serve to love in game 2.

N'Godrela won the tennis gold medal for New Caledonia at the 2011 Pacific Games en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_at_the_2011_Pacific_Games but Cam has just completed the bagel in the 1st set

Having lost just 2 points on serve in the 1st set, Cam has had to save 5 break points already in the 2nd! 6-0 2-2*

Another bit of New Caledonia tennis trivia - back in the 1970s, N'Godrela's father was the first non-European to play for France in the Davis Cup, winning two doubles rubbers.

A bit tougher in the 2nd set, then, but Cam won - his first-ever win at Challenger level or above (indeed, it was his first Challenger match)

I feel a bit sorry for Cam. Great win, but needs to win another round to even get some cash from the bonus scheme, but no points unless you qualify.

Big well done to Cam! He follows up his first challenger win with his second upsetting the 5th q seed 7-5 6-2 biggrin

Gets top q seed Krajicek next.

Brydan just took his match into a decider 1-6 7-6(2)

Edit: And Brydan completes the comeback winning 1-6 7-6(2) 6-4

Couple of excellent wins and the LTA bonus scheme already paying out. I would love to see Cam qualify, but don't really see either getting through.

Wait, did Klein win in straights or in three? Conflicting scorelines here.

Sorry, my fault - I read off his QR2 opponent's QR1 score instead. Now corrected above.
