Jo and Patricia won 10-8 in the match tie-breaker thingy, which I'm glad as it will mean she's got a bit more time on court before qualies next week. Her young conqueror meanwhile lost 0&3 in QR2.

Mayr just isn't very pleasant. Or at least she wasn't in the past.

Yep. Mayr is the anti-Christ of women's tennis. Joke.

I just don't like her really, she was/is just one step above Anastasia Rodionova in terms of brattiness. And is also an awful player who should not be anywhere near the top 100

Konta and Mayr are through to the SF with a 3&2 win over the 4th seeds. I too do not like Patricia from what I've seen of her matches, but I'm happy for Jo to be getting something out of this week.
