3rd on court 2 tomorrow. Matches start at midnight UK time so Heather on around 4am?

 

Winner likely to play 2nd seed Chanelle Scheepers, RSA, 80 in QR2 and possibly Tellana Pereira, BRA, 97 in QR3

Thread title amended slightly to put it into the usual format for WTA Premier events.

Heather has not played Minella (CH 66 in 2012) before. The 28-year-old from Luxembourg is on a 5-match winning streak, having won a 50K in Florida last month.

getting the job done but deffo can play better in set 2

recovers the break and powers home to a comfortable enough win

second serve needs atention

will play scheepers next

hev actual needs to qualify to have this score count & even then it would only be +5 points
but the score might count in full later in the year when some of her mandatoreys come off

nice start hev up and running on the year

*6-5 40-30 MP Heather and then...

Ace ( apparently her 2nd of the match ). GSM !

I've had more stressful experiences following live scores !

Hev was actually 1-5 down in the second, and demolished her in form opponent in the next 6 games. Very encouraging 1st match of season, tough FQR though.
Apart from the Laura news, great stuff from down under this morning.
