Luke wins 3-1 retirement.

Maybe getting the second seed sometimes works out well . . . :)

Sorry for the other player (and hope he isn't very unwell) ... but always glad to see a seed-magnet (and we've had a few of them over time!) get lucky.

Just like last time Scott takes the first set on a tiebreak. Come on Scott! Hoping for a different outcome this time.

Evan took the first set 6-4 and is up 2-0* in the second.

Yes it is

Another good effort by Scott against last week's winner too, but unfortunately he lost in 3 again.

L32: (Q) Scott Clayton WR 1214 lost to (6) Tihomir Grozdanov (BUL) WR 453 (CH 443 in Sep) by 6-7(4) 6-4 6-3

Good to see from Evan.

Been hearing quite a lot of talk about Evan for years. Fine prospect, good looking player etc. Players come through at different paces, but be good to see him start to put some senior results together.

Nice win for Evan. Only time I've seen him play was in the FQR in Edinburgh this year, where he lost a match he should have won comfortably. Seemed to me like he had a few anger managment issues, but hopefully they can be sorted whilst he's still young enough
