First time I've ever seen a player from Réunion ...
Rotten luck for the two Brits to meet in the FQR.
I think it's an error really - Réunion is still part of France (one of the French overseas départements) and so the other Réunion players just come up as listed for France - which, in fact, Quentin Robert does in the ATP site, but not on the ITF site.
Georgia Craven came up as 'English' on the ITF draw lists earlier this year, with a St. George cross flag, which I thought was quite sweet.
My favourite memory of a brief sojourn in a DOM was that it was cheaper to call back to the UK (thousands of miles) than to call a country about fifty miles away ... because, of course, I was in France ....
Both FQR matches involving Brits saw the lower-ranked player come from a set down to upset the higher-ranked player, with identical scorelines!
FQR: (q13) Scott Clayton WR 1348 beat (q1) Luke Bambridge WR 785 by 3-6 6-3 6-4 FQR: (q5) Toby Martin WR 886 lost to (q12) Skander Mancouri (TUN) WR 1328 by 3-6 6-3 6-4
Switching to 9 Dec rankings for the main draw:
L32: (Q) Scott Clayton WR 1269 v (WC) Mousa Shanan Zayed (QAT) UNR (CH 1668 in 2012) L32: Liam Broady WR 511 v Matthieu Roy (FRA) WR 748 (CH 728 in Aug) L32: (6) Oli Golding WR 418 v (Q) Constantin Belot (FRA) WR 929 (CH 633 in 2012)
A nice reward for Scott but Oli and Liam could meet in R2

Bah, I really don't like that potential Oli vs Liam meeting in R2. They are both in good form ( well, Oli was before his slight break and I hope nothing too much wrong ) and I could have seen them both doing well this week. While a potentially interesting meeting, just wish it wasn't in R2 with one departing with one point.
Bit of a disappointment that qualifying result for Liam, would have wanted much more, but clearly good for Scott.
Could be a potential banana skin for Oli, having had a week off then coming up against someone who's match sharp through qualifying. Would be intriguing to see him take on Liam in R2 though.
R1: Richard Becker (GER) & Oli Golding CR 1635 (939+696) defeated (4) Scott Clayton & Toby Martin CR 1308 (627+681) by 6-1 4-6 [10-4] R1: (2) Luke Bambridge & Liam Broady CR 1480 (547+933) defeated (WC) Hassan al Mousa & Abdullah Maqdas (KUW/KUW) UNR by 7-5 6-7(5) [10-4] - closer than perhaps it should have been!

SC, your first result need a smiley face too - Oli Golding won.
And in R2, Oli and Becker play the winner of Evan and Skander v the dutch pair
