Jade lost the second set 61. And after a long heat break, three breaks in a row start the decider

Emily misses 3 points for a double break and is broken back

Jade, touch wood, looking comfortable 4*-1

Come on Jade ! without putting the mockers on it, it's only stating the obvious to say, given the draw, this is your chance to make the top 300 for the first time !

edit: Jade wins the first set 6-3

It wouldn't be the first time - her career high is 297. But making the QFs here should be enough to end the calendar year in the top 300 for the first time and take out that career high.

14 breaks in 25 games so far (7 each), hoping she can avoid a 15th and close this out!

15 breaks in Jade's match, 7 in just one set in Emily's (the ITF stats say 4 each but are obviously wrong) - what is going on?!

Em loses 64 64

She really could have won that. Just missed far too many game and break points in the first set.

Paul's right, but 18-year-old Kerimbayeva reached the final in Pune last week, so it was never going to be easy.

L32: Emily Webley-Smith WR 402 lost to Kamila Kerimbayeva (KAZ) WR 393 (= CH) by 4 & 4
