RE: GB Off-Season 2013

Oli just facially somehow looks fitter than he has before. I was already thinking that when I saw him in the second half of last year and ( in a clearer picture ) just looked generally fitter and leaner.

PS : great pic, Bob, I just mean where he is standing.

Julian Hoffernan??

I'm trying to work out who is still funded - Liam, Oli and another(Luke?)

Julien Hoferlin was in Australia working with Evo (and possibly with Cox / Ward). No idea where he is now but I don't think that is him.

It's definitely Speedo on the far left, and I do half recognise the guy on the right, but can't put a name to him.

My turn to show ignorance - Speedo ?

As for the guy on the right, what is really annoying me is that they kept shouting out his (nick)name all day, but I can't remember what it was. I am definitely getting old and senile.

Hoping to get down again on Thurs so I will try and solve the mystery on that visit.

Right I think I may have it, due to the fact that he didn't use to have a beard, it looks like James Trotman ( LTA coach/former player ) However I'm sure his coaching skills have usually been used on the doubles court.

http://46.105.99.143/wordpress/ ( there's a picture of him beardless halfway down this page ).

As for Speedo, he is South African hence his non english accent.

Thanks Phil.  Nail on the head and it has triggered my memory.  They were calling him "Trotters" all morning. So I think that is a sure fire spot on your part.

What a bunch of tennis nerds we all are biggrin

I saw him a few times during the summer, nice chap, but he was helping out our double's guys during that time.

James Trotman was working with Oli and Evan today, whilst Mark Hilton was working with Liam, Luke and Toby.

Not sure if we can read anything into that or not. Maybe different every day here in training.

Trotman was coaching O'Mara last summer. I would have never recognised him with the beard.
