Super picture! Who else is there?

The doubles players are there this week. These four train in the mornings and the afternoon group is Jamie Murray, Johnny Marray and Dom Inglot.  I am going to try and get to an afternoon session later in the week.

Team Bath also seem to be there. Richard Gabb definitely on court this morning.

From what I have been told, most of the young singles players (Oli, Liam, Luke etc) are out early in January.

So Jamie and Dom do their own pre-season training then, completely separate from Peers and Huey?

I liked this off-season one from Alex:

Lost 2kg in the Florida heat already. Thinking up ways to lose more; skinhead check, cutting nails check, circumcision maybe?! #dedication

I did ask specifically about Huey and was told that last year, he was with the guys in La Manga, even though Dom wasn't.  Work that one out.

Yes, I saw that you could go out to La Manga and for all of £420 pp spend a week at the club (B and B included), getting instruction from their pros and Louis Cayer, and watching the seven go through their paces. Had one time enough and were one comfortable spending money on such things, it seemed quite a good deal, all things considered. lamangaclub.com/CelebrityTennisAcademy

Yes. James Rose, the Director of Tennis, was out there doing a coaching session with a group of Brits and before the pros got going, Neal Skupski was being used for the demonstrations as Louis was giving instruction.

But forget the £420 price tag. Come and stay with me. I'll knock 10% off that price, but you'll have to do the washing up biggrin

And in a complete reversal in fortunes today

Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 164 (77+87) beat Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins CR 56 (27+29) by 6-2 6-2

Decent morning watching the guys train in La Manga this morning. Liam, Oli, Evan Luke and Toby all there and showing plenty of intensity.

Biggest problem seemed to be lack of rackets !! The "stringer" seemed to have gone AWOL and they were fast running out of usable rackets. Luke had to sit out half the session as he didn't have a racket left.

I can't decide if I find that last bit funny or disturbing.

Don't think they found it very funny at all. Luke disappeared to find the stringer but failed. Mark Hilton offered him one of his rackets but Luke wasn't keen to start practising with a racket of different weight and tension. At the end, they were basically working out a priority list of who should get their rackets strung first (once the stringer had been found) based on their upcoming training schedule.

Presumably the other 3 are coaches.

Second in from the left is Mark Hilton (you probably knew that one) but I don't know the other two. The one on the left hand end definitely didn't have a british accent.

Isn't the guy next to Mark Steve Kotze Strength and Conditioning coach/fitness trainer. Worked with Evo recently and I think Laura in the past.
