Margot is 16 and is a decent junior CH 58, but as yet has never got through qualifying on the main tour.

L32: (7) Katy Dunne WR 706 v Karina Venditti (BRA) WR 964 (CH 682 in 2012)

Venditti lost 5 & 2 to Emily in R1 last week.

Jäger held more easily early on, Harriet having to save 2 bps in her first service game, but the Dart beats the Hunter to the first break - *3-2

L32: Harriet Dart UNR beat Corina Jäger (SUI) UNR (CH 768 in Apr) by 3 & 3

Harriet won 10 of the 12 break points - taking 4/5 of her own and saving 6/7 She will find out her R2 opponent tomorrow and Katy will play her R1 match then too.

Excellent win for Harriet, but much tougher in the next round, with Liebens likely who beat Harriet in Manchester on her way to the title.

Katy has a nice run to the QF, where she should meet the 2 seed, who hasn't set the world alight recently.

She won 11 games in a row - games 2-12. She actually faced 6 break points during the match but saved them all

I make that Katy is now GB ranked number 14 and, more importantly, only one win away from making it into the top 600 (which will have been a VERY swift passage through the 600s)
