Ed served for the first set at 5-4 only for Obry to recover the break! cry

Y corrió quite quickly to a place in the final - but not until after he went down 0-30 in the final game, causing me a few palpitations! wink

That's a really good win given the form Obry was in Should be enough to see Ed into the top 300 too

So, we are basically saying that if Ed wins the final, he will then be pretty well within the top 300, if he is not already there.

...yes, that was deliberately worded. The basic point is that someone had to it !

That's a great win for Ed given Obry's form.

Plays the guy who beat Janowicz at Halle.

...and then there was Ed. A very good GB day in singles yesterday in various parts was far from repeated today.

Ed does really look to have found better form again, or at least as has been said is not relatively underperforming when dropping back down to futures.

Be good to get one title from the week.

He looked to have Basic under pressure on serve in the 6th game but the Bosnian player held and then broke 3-4*
