Oh Dear. I really hope this is a mistake.

ITF Live scores are now saying that Liam has retired when leading 6-0 3-0 having lost only 12 points so far. Seriously hoping the scoreboard has that the wrong way around.

Hoping that's from a reliable source because as Paulisi says, the only place I can find the score (ITF) says Liam is the one that retired.

If we take Livescores as correct and that Liam has had to withdraw (still hoping that is wrong), then the bottom quarter has really opened up for Luke. The players remaining in his quarter are 2 qualifiers (Evan being one of them), 2 WCs and Chadaj, who was being thrashed by Liam 6-0 3-0 when the retirement came.

Serious points on offer here and Luke's form and consistency seem to be improving all the time, which is great to see.

Should also say that it is an equally good chance for Evan who came through Qualies without dropping a set. Hoping for Evan v Luke in L16
