Boys & Girls: Marshall Open in Honor of Ronen Moralli, Israel - Grade 3 (Week 47)

Emily Smith's success in Israel has resulted in her becoming top seed for the third event, but Mason Recci's luck remains out - he has drawn the top seed in round 1 or 2 every time.

Boys R1 (L32)

(1) Olexei Kolisnyk (UKR) v Mason Recci (GBR)

Girls R1 (L32)

(1) Emily Smith (GBR) v Sarah Sarjoo (RSA)

Good effort by Mason but to no avail. He has the consolation of a doubles semifinal (Emily reaches the same stage as top seed in doubles). Emily's second round opponent came close to a top 100 scalp in the Israel G2, so won't be a pushover.

Boys R1 (L32)

(1) Olexei Kolisnyk (UKR) d. Mason Recci (GBR) 7-5 6-7(4) 6-1

Girls R1 (L32)

(1) Emily Smith (GBR) d. Sarah Sarjoo (RSA) 6-2 6-2

R2

(1) Emily Smith (GBR) v (Q) Elizaveta Buss (RUS)

Emily's opponent unfortunately did prove troublesome, just leaving her with a doubles final. Oddly the final features two Pribylova siblings - on opposite sides of the net.

R2

(Q) Elizaveta Buss (RUS) d. (1) Emily Smith (GBR) 4-6 6-3 6-3

Doubles Final

(1) Pribylova/Smith (RUS/GBR) v Pribylova/Zidansek (RUS/SLO)
