Oli confirms that it was very windy which, as per above, may well explain a fair few of his double faults. Will be great to see him back to practically his career high in a week's time.

Not great level today, was very windy again but held it together well and got the win!!! 2 titles in 2 weeks!!! #boom #hometime #londonbuses
Certainly looks as if how he serves in very windy conditions needs to be considered and practiced ( where possible ).
Looking good for 2014. I have never been that concerned about where he stood against say Vesely or Joe Bloggs. Different players clearly come through at different paces and there was to my mind quite a lot to suggest that Oli might take longer to mature as an all round player. Where he gets to is rather more important than quite how quickly he gets there.
He's spent most of his year on clay, presumably with development aims, and has hardly played in GB, notably not in the grass season, which really helped take him right out of the limelight and more just working on his game.
It has the look of a well planned campaign to help Oli get back on track when things maybe weren't going as well as hoped. Now with the bonus of his body seemingly feeling as good as it has in a long time and two great weeks in Greece, things look to be coming together nicely. And this is one guy who can benefit from playing on late in the season.
That's an excellent win for Oli (preventing a triple Brit-bash by Cacic too!) - taking that time out to get the hernia sorted looks to have been a very good move. He has now picked up 42 singles points in 3 weeks and by Monday week, should have risen over 150 places to very near his CH.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
That makes 6 10K doubles titles for Marcus in Lewis in the last 12 weeks, 8 doubles titles each in total this year, and 18 for Lewis / 14 for Marcus overall.
WR 200 for doubles within 6 months looks a quite tough, but reasonable target.
A full total of 18 10K title 18 pointers would total 324 points, a bit less than the current WR 200 on 338 points.
Essentially, based on current rankings, they would need to have a "best 18" averaging about 19 points, which is certainly possible assuming they move on to competing in some 15Ks and quite a few challengers and have a fair amount of success.
