Unless you know something I don't, Josh Milton is down for the Qatar Futures as well - and of course several more Brits on the Alternates list.

Edit

Actually, I notice that Josh's name is on a couple of other lists as well so perhaps that is why you didn't include him above.

OK. Thanks for that. I have been here long enough now that I should know the protocols. disbelief

I guess Week 49 is the last week that counts before the AO qualies list is announced? (That was the case last year, at least!)

Rice needs to win the 10K in Turkey in Week 48 to have a chance of getting in.
Brydan needs to win the two 15Ks in Thailand to have a chance of getting in.

Edit: Looks like I forgot about Ed! Once again, he needs to win the 10K in Turkey to have a chance of getting in.

Wasn't Bambo supposed to be going to Qatar according to the YouTube clip I watched after his doubles win with George?

Yes, he is - http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/tournaments/men's-tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100029929

Greg Howe is there, too. smile

Oli has withdrawn from Qatar for this week. Probably something to do with his tweet this morning.

Just completely fell asleep while getting an mri scan

Given the year he has had re injuries, I really hope this is nothing serious - especially as he has run into such a rich vein of form

The bad news for Oli is effectively good news for Bambo who will almost certainly be promoted into the main draw.

Jonny O'Mara has also withdrawn as well as Gregory Howe.

A weaker draw in Egypt - so Katy will almost certainly be seeded, Dasha may just miss out.

I don't think Luke's place in the MD was ever in doubt.  Given his ranking has jumped to 780 as of yesterday (compared to 860 at time of entry), that already jumps him about 6 places up the list and well inside the MD cut off.

Hoping Oli's withdrawal is just a precaution and Jonny is focusing on pre season for next year.

Yes ,but Bob rankings for main draw are as of entry date for main draw, just seedings are based on this week's rankings.

I guess you learn something everyday. I stand corrected - again.

Oli tweeted something yesterday about two steps forward and one backwards, not sure what that means but hopefully it's nothing too disastrous.....
