I'm afraid the GB girls came up short again in the singles but managed to salvage something from the doubles:

Tara lost to Isabella Shinikova (WR 345) 2-6 6-2 6-4

Naomi lost to Gaelle Desperrier UNR (CH 843 in 2006) 7-6 7-6

Tara won her doubles with Francisca Sintes Martin 6-4 6-0

Naomi won her doubles (right at the wire to draw the tie) with Leolia Jeanjean 4-6 6-3 1-0

So that was a 3-3 draw yet again but unfortunately the team needed to win this round to have a chance of qualifying for the final play-off to go up to Division 1

Those results (indoors) are terrible

Perhaps there should be a separate thread for French league matches rather than attaching them to specific unrelated tournaments. Will be much easier to find in the future.

They'll be finished next week. I didn't want to do a new one as it seemed too 'french' and I was just mentioning it, in passing, but I guess it's no different than a tournament played in france or spain or wherever, with GB players playing. I think you're probably right - it would've been more logical to have had a separate thread. As I say, it's practically over now though.
