Bit of a disappointing week, especially not getting a semi finalist out of quarter 3, and it doesn't sound as if Natalia has had to be that great to be the Brit basher there.

Taking the last 2 weeks of 10Ks together though, I'd definitely say more plusses than minuses, with Anna last week and particularly the performances of a number of youngsters.

I do hope Anna hasn't picked up anything serious. The fact that she at least played till the end is some encouragement there.

...and that is good news from the doubles. Well done, girls !

Does anyone know what chances there might be of Joss resurrecting her singles career ? I understand that her long term injury issues were restricting her to doubles.

Wonder what's got into Natalia Vajdova - coming into this week, she was on a 5-match losing streak stretching back to August but has now beaten 3 Brits (including 2 seeds) in straight sets. Thanks for finding some form at exactly the wrong time, Natalia
