Steven - you have done nothing wrong. It was quite amusing as Katy sussed out I was a tennis fan(rather than a coach or relative/friend of player) and asked "do I know who Steven is? He tweets all the players almost before they know the result of their own match and nobody seems to know who he is"

I suspect there is a challenge going on from the girls to find out who you are.....

Haha sorry Steven, a bit of misremembering of a previous conversation we had on my part there! Apologies to the gf :p

Thanks paulisi, that's very funny (the last bit a bit worrying LOL ...) Perhaps they haven't heard of live scores and think I hide somewhere at all the matches. When I manage to get along to one of these events, I'll be the one with dark glasses, a wig and a false beard ... wink

If the Vajdovas were twins, I'd be wondering by now whether they had surreptitiously swapped identities this week!

I see too that unranked qualifier Nora Niedmers (junior CH only 678 too), who beat Maia 5 & 3 yesterday, has upset the 2nd seed 0 & 5 today!

Caught glimpses of Scholsen beating Herring yesterday and there was nothing much too special about her game, expect Freya to win that game. Anna may be too strong for Katy.

Georgia: "Thoroughly convinced both my umpire and line judge today were German...every single bad call in my opponent's favour. He even called a double fault on break point when I'd only hit one serve!"

Ouch!

Freya, meanwhile, has handed out a first set breadstick

Katy takes a 3-1 lead against Anna. I suspect both players are under-ranked at present so it is hard to call this one.

Touly has beaten top seed Hofmann so whatever happens in the all-GB match, (4) Liebens will be the top seed left and there will be 2 qualifiers and a wild card in the QFs.
