Wow if he somehow wins the semi and final he will end the year in the top 300 and GB number 5!

I think Dan just emphasised one of his biggest strengths, a comeback king, strong mentally, a fighter etc., etc.,

Great result. Lost the internet at 5-5, 15-15 so was really pleased to see the result when I got back online.

Well done Dan. Fantastic result.

Your turn Josh !!

Good match from dave but Groth was just that bit better today. Fair score.

Groth's now the only seed left standing... disbelief

Shame for Dave although by no means a "bad" loss from the comments and looking at rankings etc.

Excellent from Dan S though, great to see him back in a bit of form and hopefully building up bags of confidence and form to take him over into next year.

Brilliant win from Dan - who'd believe the Bulgarian thrashed him 3 & 0 last month!

As per CD's edit, 98 points for Dan now, which is enough for WR 396 in this week's list so will hopefully mean top 400 next Monday, though it's probably touch and go. That will take him to GB no. 11 and he also overtakes Alex Ward to go into the the year-to-date GB top 10.

Smethurst/Corrie take first set against Rice/Thornley. Sean getting very annoyed, destroyed a racket already.

Are there LTA bonuses for doubles?

Josh fends off break points to hold on to the advantage up 5-2

Ed and Dan took the first set 6-4

Pretty cool that 5 of the 6 players on court are Brits.
