Agreed: big talent, just waiting for things to click. This year not at all great and not what one would have expected ... but if you allow for starting the year injured and taking time to build back (up to April was pretty horrid), since then a fair number of his losses have been to reasonable players. They're players one hopes he'd beat next year, but for an annus horribilis (two injuries, lots of time on his least favourite surface, evidence from people who follow him of frustration on his part), it's not as bad as it could be.

Well, it's his (joint) third highest pointer tourney of the year so I reckon it's a good return - not exceptional but I'd be very pleased if I were his team. Good luck to both for their dubs final.
But that must be a very disappointing stat for the year, 6 points being his joint third best score and the top two are two 10K futures runner up spots for 10 points each.
I still somehow think Oli has a certain something that means he still should have a big upside to come and I think it is true that he has played a lot on clay this year ( for development ? ), but 2013 has undoubtably NOT been a good year for him.
