Bambo won -that's two excellent wins for the boys today.

Really well done to both of them. That's a super win from Oli and, after his op and with no points to defend this year, he must feel like it's all upside and a bonus.

Luke's got 6 points (his biggest scorer) coming off on the 25th so it'd be lovely to replace that with another one. But for him it's probably more about conifdence and just getting some wins under his belt, regardless of the actual points implications.

Luke has played Karlovskiy once before, in juniors in 2011, winning 4 & 6, and Oli has played Kuzmanov 4 times (3 in juniors, once in Antalya last year), winning all 4.

I'm having a great time with this tournament! Can you see an all British final between these two?

That was short! They seem to be moving along quite well! Where do you think that they will hit the wall?

Welcome Mr Queso

I'm with Korriban on this one and will give you a straight "No".

Luke has shown the ability to produce some excellent wins, but so far has been unable to string three or four of these wins together. It wouldn't surprise me if Oli goes a lot further. But I also wouldn't be surprised if Luke gets beaten in the next round.

I hope I am wrong.

How can you all be so quick to melt the hopes of Mr Cheese? I'm not yet prepared to accept that they're toast after their recent victories ... with a Rare bit of luck, the proposed final might indeed take place ....

(In all seriousness, I wouldn't rule it out ... though that's more hope speaking than certainty. Congratulations to both, meanwhile, on some very fine wins in singles and doubles.)

Welcome Mr Cheese. Unfortunately I have to agree with the others that it is unlikely we will see an all-British final this week. That said, it would be grate if we did, and a real Red Leicester (sorry I meant letter) day for British tennis.....
