James didn't play badly at all today and it was a close match. Grigelis did however always look like the better player and at times showed why he has a career high inside the top 200. James was made to work hard for pretty much every point and had to keep going for more and more which unsurprisingly resulted in a few too many unforced errors. On another day he might have pinched a set and there were a few big points were he made some poor errors, largely I think due to the near constant pressure he was under.
All in all a good couple of weeks and he seems a lot happier both on and off court than was the case a couple of months ago.
