Yes, Ross will have a PR which he can use 9 times in the first 9 months commencing from his first tournament back. The PR will be calculated on the average ranking of the players ranking in the first 3 months they are injured.
(I only bothered answering because you said the poster would be knowledgeable, or at least more knowledgeable than you ).
Thanks wolf you are obviously full of knowledge, wisdom, insight and...umm...humility?
All three if our pairs will be on court 2 today with the organizers giving Jonny a full 2 hours to play his match (the others are not before 16:00 with play starting at 14:00), I hope he doesn't need quite that long to win!!

Oh dear, not the best day then but as Spectator said the fact we had so much expectation is a good thing, three pairs in a masters by right and two who (were) still in with a chance of getting to the O2 at the last qualifying tournament is a massive achievement so let's not let this nasty day ruin a great year

Thanks for the article, CD. I think one of the reasons why I follow doubles so assiduously is that we have been given such a large number of doubles players playing at ATP/Challenger level whom one really wants to see win, not just in terms of supporting GB players or wishing people well generally, but because they seem like such good eggs. I have no insider knowledge, but to an outsider, they come across as not only gifted but also very sensible, grounded, mature, hard-working sorts, who don't make a fuss but quietly get on with maximising their talent and improving so that they can be among the best. It's just a pleasure to see them do well.

Fognini and Seppi both appear more than once in the top 100 teams list: they're another example of people winning quite a lot of points with different partners, and so not appearing in contention for the team finals, but being quite capable of being in contention.
Incidentally, we're not the only ones who moan when our WCs and players sometimes "crash out" (what would the media do if that term were banned?) of home tournaments. Le Monde sends out a daily round-up of sports stories, and the headline today is "Mahut escapes the massacre of the French players"! (On which note - Mahut is one of my favourite non-GB players - looks as if the aforementioned may just end the year in the top 50 for the first time since 2007 ... and he has a whopping (seriously) 18 points to defend before Wimbledon.)
