Both India and Grace lost the first set in their matches but both are putting up more of a fight in their 2nd sets, with Grace a break up.

India is now a break down in the 2nd at 4-5* but Grace has broken again to go *3-0 up in the 2nd.

Look at the DF count - Grace 11, Waccano 18 - that's getting into Sabrina territory.

Good stuff by Grace, I do hope she comes through.

She did seem to be progressing pretty well a couple of years or so ago, but a name that has been off my radar in more recent times.

Injuries ? Studies ?

Looks like Waccano has stepped up her game again and run into a 3-0 lead.

Expect Grace to get a W/C at Loughborough next week.

Checking her activity, quite a few tournaments Mar/Apr and then nothing since June until now other thna 1 junior tournament in July.

Tempted to go down to Sportcity, Manchester in a couple of weeks and have a look at some of the girls who i've not seen, such as Grace Dixon, Amy Seargent, Katy Dunne, Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart etc

The main draw is out and, overall, it's OK.

top quarter: Naomi gets Voracova

second Q : Mel gets Siniakova

third Q :
Heather v Kucova
Jade v Vrljic
Tara v Marcinkevica
Em v Jo

Obviously, a heavy third q but at least a chance of some good points for a player or two. And the two top seeds avoided.
