Bit of a sloppy game from Halebian to get broken but a sloppier one from Dave to get broken back.

Dan and Ed lost the first set of their doubles on a tiebreak after serving for it at 5-4.

Edit: But came back to take the second set 6-2. Unfortunately though they lose the match tiebreak 8-10 cry

Haha well in that case I expect your super powered dreams to carry him to a win.

Josh warming up on centre court so he's on the USTA live stream.

Josh was 0-3 down when I walked in the door and is now 3-3. Timing or what . ..

And c'mon, Dave, you can get there . . . (crosses fingers) . . . 3*-4 to Dave

Not sure we should be very surprised re: Ryan Shane. Looked him up, and he was ranked 46th in the country, with quite a strong lot of players involved. Incidentally, also on the list was one "Andy Bettles" at 21. I checked, recalling the name vaguely ... was he one of the junior Davis Cup team a few years ago? Perhaps he's a candidate for CD's hopes that we have some more strong players coming out of the US system.

What players do we currently have on tour that came out of the US system? Did Neal Skupski go through it?

Ed Corrie and George Coupland and Sam Murray are three that instantly come to mind . . .
