And now it's not updating.

Time to put on some brew and come back to good news.

And as people predicted, a nice comfortable win for Dan C today 7-5 in a 3rd set tiebreaker.

Dan wins 7-5 in the TB according to Bet365. rather underwhelming but at least he's had a good bit of court practice !

I'm going with "phew".

Coxy is becoming good at playing at the level of his opponent. Too bad that there's no Djokovic in Greece F17, I suppose.

That was certainly a bit scary! Dan won't find out his R2 opponent until tomorrow.

Michael is 3-3* in the 1st set against Kalovelonis, who has won 12/13 points on serve. Michael didn't face a break point in his first 3 service games either but the Greek has won 8 points on Michael's serve.

Also, Dan's R2 opponent has just been decided:

L16: (1) Dan Cox WR 245 v Laurent Malouli (FRA) WR 741 (CH 571 in Apr)

Kalovelonis breaks and holds to take the 1st set 6-4, having only dropped 3 points on serve.

Things got a bit worse early in the 2nd set (Kalovelonis still dropping hardly any points on serve and Michael losing a lot more) before getting better, if a bit too late - in the end, Michael won 14 points on the Greek's serve and lost 24 on his own serve.

L32: (Q) Michael Suleau WR 1936 lost to Markos Kalovelonis (GRE) WR 722 (= CH) by 4 & 4

L16: (1) Dan Cox WR 245 v Laurent Malouli (FRA) WR 741 (CH 571 in Apr)
