One of the few Brits you can never accuse of having been tempted to become a doubles specialist

Janvier's a promising 17yo who has shot up to #45 in the juniors this year and will probably one of the top juniors next year. Inexperienced on tour though, as can be seen by his ranking. Could be a bit of a wild card..

I agree that the first round may be the hardest of all the matches for Dan up until the semi final assuming no slip ups.

Oh, Maxime Janvier is a pretty good youngster and progressing but he's miles off the top ones (who mostly aren't doing juniors any more so the juniors ranking is a bit misleading).

Dan should win no problem. If they were playing in round two, I think Dan would be a shoe-in. As the first round can always be a bit tricky (no match play in this setting against a qualifier who's won a couple of matches) there's a slight question mark. But I think Dan should be fine.

I'd say that's a great draw for Dan with little to indicate that he should not be winning R1.

All the best to both him and Michael.

I was looking at it, thinking that it was in fact a remarkably good draw for a challenger and really well done to George on qualifying for a Challenger MD - duh !

I blame Mr Cox for suddenly popping back up in a futures.
