No sign of Oli then. Hardly a surprise post-hernia op. It takes time to feel confident again (given my own experience) to do anything at 100% without being mindful about the affected area or in some way "protecting" it. In theory he should be absolutely fine, in practice it still hurts!

Agreed. No surprise at all. As I posted in another thread, with Oli down to play some 10k futures in Greece starting Week 45, it would be almost madness to fly out to Seoul just for 1 week. And given his recent operation, coming back in at a 10k level is eminently more sensible.
can't find any results, but from sundays oop looks like A-Ward lost, Ashley Hewitt was still playing when the draw was made, and Richard Gabb won (I assume it was a standard double bagelling jobby) and will play the 8th seed Jung in round two.
No wonder they couldn't be bothered to wait for Ashley's match to finish before they did tomorrow's OoP:

Nice draw for Dan and a good chance to get a couple wins under his belt after the disappointing trip to California.
Poor result for Alex and it really is starting to look like he won't end up with as much to show for this season as many of his results would suggest and he could even end the year ranked in a similar place to where he started it.
