Stamenkovic looks to be back after a short injury break - she reached the final of a Serbian 10K last month then retired in R1 the following week.

Very good win for Katy.

Katy plays Prosperi, who looks like a more than useful player at a CH and won with a double bagel.

Katy's not getting easy draws - 5th seed, unranked player with very useful recent record(QF's, semis in recent 10Ks) and then potentially the top seed in QF and last week's winner in the semi final - Mertens

Went to a tie-break and unfortunately Valeria took it (7-3, I think).

But wouldn't write off Katy yet - I get the feeling she loves the battle (mind you, maybe Valeria does too!)
