Really close, shame, but always great to finish on a good week.

Singles finalist is pretty good (!) and gives him 16 singles points for the trip which is pretty much what his seeding said he should get (18 points would've been the seeding predictor) but especially good given he never even got the chance to play his last semi (stomach problems).

And a doubles title and doubles finalist place. well done :)

Very nearly, still though lots of positives, I fancy 2014 will be a very good year for Liam.

Liam should now rise about 60 places over the next two Mondays - he will have 66 points on Monday week, which is enough for WR 512 on the current list. He has also now scored (in just 2 weeks) double the total points he picked up in the last 4 months of 2012, though all 8 of those points still have to come off (in November), starting with 1 on Monday week, which is why he will be on 66 points rather than 67.
