Lucie served for the second set but Hev broke back :)

Aargh - Paszek wins the game ... JoKo really should have taken it, I think.

I can't cope with a final set tiebreak. No idea how this will play out.

One moment of magic (or madness) could decide it.

And there's the moment of madness. Bad, bad miss from Jo brings up 2 match points for Paszek. Saves the first,

Jo loses 75 06 76(5)

Heartbreaker

That match had nothing in it. Such a shame for Jo she couldn't get anything from this trip to France.

Barnstaple next week and a chance to go out of 2013 on a big bang.

Routine FH rally ball error to finish. Shame because JoKo played really really well, but slightly more passive play and those FHs seemed to let her down at key moments. Both things I'm sure she's working like mad on with her coach, so there's bags of upside for her.

Gutted - I didn't see the 1st set, admittedly, but JoKo looked the better player to me most of the time. Paszek did well to hang in there and take her chances.

Jo was very good at hitting corner to corner but that was not quite enough. On the few occasions when she went wider and hit to the sidelines she had her opponent in trouble.
