You know what, I sort of felt something positive might happen this week. Reading between the lines, she seemed in a happy place this week, playing 'where's watty games' etc., maybe there was a sense that it couldn't get any worse, so just have fun and enjoy it again. The British girls seem very much in good form off the court this week.
My theory is that it's because she's got her mum with her and Heather's mum been at the laundromat, doing all Hev's laundry.
That's enough to put anyone in a good mood . . . :)
Well done Mum - it's the little things that count !
Hev has lost the second set 6-4. Time for another fightback.
PS good to see all the Brits hanging around together in Poitiers and seeming to be having fun. Must lift spirits, probably quite lonely for Hev on her own or just with Laura most weeks.

Alison Riske is a very under rated player. i saw here several times at Birmingham and her court coverage is excellent and she has a very good doublehanded backhand.
This is a tough match.
