Ha, Ha, Shhh, I did think about you when I wrote that ( obviously not about you LOL ), but didn't expect quite such a quick response from yourself.
Anyway more QUIET ( don't think we've any members called that ) would be appreciated from Gary, although genuine tennis insights are welcome, such as a response to the queries ( genuine, without malice ) as to what may have gone wrong for Marcus and Lewis this week.
It was difficult to adjust from outdoor to indoors - Just a bad week with hindsight should of stayed outdoors
Marcus does'nt like poorly lit indoor courts and Lewis was distracted by the abundance of very plain female students

Didn't they both have a whole week of practicing on indoor courts?? Surely sufficient at this level
However, the fact that the person who wrote the comment then felt the need to quote it and "LOL" at it himself because nobody else did cracked me up so much that I just can't bring myself to zap it
Wow! I have just got back from work and it has taken me a good 40 minutes to read through the day's posts on this thread. I kept thinking 'I must reply to that', particularly the lack of logic, but you all did it brilliantly. Well done!

Depends what the opponent was playing on the week before
Dropping down from 40 centigrade to 13
& to badly lit indoors wasn't easy .
I don't mean this as a witch hunt, but that is still just an excuse. I presume that there must be a hidden more detailed appraisal of the match? Poor preparation, complacency perhaps? Players switch from outdoor to indoor and vice-versa throughout the year. As for lighting, I cannot believe that a healthy young man with good eyes would not adapt to the surroundings within a reasonably short space of time.
Good luck for next week anyway. A few more carrots might be on the menu in the meantime :o)
