Our doubles pairs could hardly have asked for better draws:
R1: (1) Liam Broady & Josh Ward-Hibbert CR 847 vs Alejandro Capdequi & Markos Kalovelonis (GRE/GRE) UNR R1: Luke Bambridge & Evan Hoyt CR 2565 vs (WC) Daniel Dudockin & Yehonatan Kaufman (ISR/ISR) UNR R1: Lance Cohen & Oran Reznik (RSA/ISR) UNR vs (4) Scott Clayton & Toby Martin CR 1505 R1: (WC) Edan Bakshi & Emil Saveljev (ISR/ISR) UNR vs Laslo Djere (SRB) & Jonny O'Mara UNr
Evan and Luke have already won - by retirement it appears. They lost the first set on a tiebreak but were 5-2 up in the second when the scoreboard stopped. They have now been listed as winners but without a socre showing. Also the scorecard stops at this point.
I am guessing it must have been a sudden injury as from 5-1 down in the 2nd set, their opponents broke to love and were then 40-15 up when they appear to have retired.
Alternatively of course, it could be a techincal glitch and the match actually played out to the end.

Already reported on the previous page, Bob!
It wasn't when I STARTED typing my post. I am just too slow. Put it down to old age.
