Ditto great week for them!

And a great team debut at ATP level. A similar run at their grand slam debut might be nice. smile

So difficult to know what to feel after the initial sensation of "guttedness".

Disappointed that they couldn't quite pull it off, or delighted that they have had such a terrific week. I'll go with a bit of both. And let's be honest, if anyone had suggested that they would get THIS close to winning in their 1st ever ATP event, they would have been laughed off the board.

Great week guys. And there will be many more to come.

Gutted, but as Bob says still an amazing week, mixed emotions.

A bit of both, I think. Ken has just put it perfectly ...

"What a week! What an amazing sport tennis is! Its why we all play. Couldn't feel any worse right now but we will be back stonger than ever!"

Well said that man. They did brilliantly, and what a win against Mirnyi and Tecau too - 4 match points came and went today, but that's history now, and to be so close to an ATP tournament win in your first ever ATP tournament together is an outstanding effort. If they are this good now, imagine what they can do in 12 months time. Ken had a poor MTB (and they still had 3 MPs in a row at 9-6), but he had a great tournament overall. And the rate at which Neal is improving is frightening - was he the best player on court for much of today's match? I think so. Well done boys!

I'll go with the "mixed emotions" sentiment.  Neal will doubtless have learnt from his experiences this week & will know what it takes to win in their next ATP final. wink

An incredible effort this week from the boys. You learn more from losing than winning and the experience that will have given them in their first ATP event will be priceless moving on

Their efforts do get a brief mention on the BBC website at the end of the article on Tsonga.
