Messrs Skupski start their campaign tomorrow, 3rd on court 3 with an 11:00 am (=8:00 am BST) start.

Both Mr Ramos and Mr Sousa - the Brothers' opponents - lost their singles matches today, with Mr Ramos losing to Mr Khachanov, the 17-year-old wunderkind who now has a 2-1 record in ATP main draw competitions. Perhaps this will leave the Iberian duo dispirited ...

Two of the seeded pairs have bitten the dust already:  Cermak & Polasek (2), beaten by Junaid & Marx (2-6 7-6(7) [2-10]), & Bednarek & Bracciali, beaten by Elgin & Istomin (3 & 3). disbelief  Sadly, they were in the other half of the draw. hmm

Per Neal and confirmed by the live scores app, Ramos has withdrawn so they now play Zeballos/Golubev and on later as Golubev has singles first.

The alternates are arguably a tougher proposition for Ken & Neal... hmm

QF:  (1) Max Mirnyi & Horia Tecau (BLR/ROU) CR 52 vs Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 198

The top seeds are by no means invincible, as Dom & TCH proved in the first round in Shanghai last week, but they're rather more highly ranked & experienced at this level than the Skupskis, still...
