I think it's more likely that Coxy will play in Edgbaston. Particularly if he plans to go to Melbourne.
I checked the entry list for the two 10Ks in the US (the second of them is on Fitzy's schedule), and was pleasantly surprised to see that Eric Prodon is making another comeback. I've been a fan ever since 2007, when Prodon reached the finals of seven consecutive Futures and then seamlessly moved on to the Challenger level, where he then reached three consecutive finals, making it a total of ten consecutive finals.
Well, I'd rather spend a week playing at home if I'm just coming back to Europe from Australia. Either way, it's almost surely academical, because I don't think he is going to Melbourne.
I'm fairly sure Dan Cox will withdraw from Melbourne. There are 3 challengers in a row and he hasn't the other two. There is no way anyone would travel to the other end of the country for 1 week.
My personal feeling is that Marcus has already exceeded expectation this year and after a 3 week stint in the heat of Kuwait, he may be a bit drained - hence the slightly surprising result this week.
I would have no problem if he decided to take a couple of weeks off and then dive head first into pre-season training, leaving the Challengers for next year.

I'm abit confused about the dubs entries above. J/J are above our other two pairings in the race and it's almost end of year, so how come they are ranked lower?

The ranking for entry purposes is obtained by adding the individual doubles rankings of the two players in the team. Colin, for example, is the top Brit in the individual doubles rankings but only about half of his points were scored with Jonny, so he and Jonny are behind Jamie and John in the Race but ahead of them when you combine the individual rankings of each player in the team.
Had Colin scored all of his points with the same player, he would easily be top 8 in the Race now. Instead, he appears 5 times in the top 100 of the Race with 5 different partners.

Thanks steven, mystery cleared up. I get very confused with seedings/entries especially around GSs where I recall the rules are different again?
