Boys & Girls: Racquette d'Or, Morocco - Grade 4 (Week 41)

No 'big names' but a lot of british players taking part:

Boys:

In the qualies, Jordan Bury came through two rounds, lost his third Q round in three sets but got a place in the MD as  LL where he unfortunately got the no. 3 seed but posted a reasonable score:

R32 : Jordan Bury lost to (3) Majed Kilani  (TUN) 6-4 6-3

Girls:

Dakota Norton lost her FQR in three sets but Katarina Weymouth won hers and made the MD:

R32 : (Q) Katarina Weymouth v (Q) Zineb Rajib (MAR)

R32 : (7) Savannah SILLS (GBR)  def.   Lilya HADAB (MAR)  6-3 6-4

R32 : Megan ROGERS (GBR)    def.    Salma ZIOUTI (MAR)  6-2 3-6 6-3

R32 : Ghita BENHADI (MAR)   def.   Emily APPLETON (GBR)    6-0 7-5

Practically no good news at all from Morocco :

R2:

laila ELNIMR (EGY) def. Savannah SILLS (GBR) [7] 6-2 6-2
Zaineb EL HOUARI (MAR) [4] def. Megan ROGERS (GBR) 6-2 6-2
Dina HEGAB (EGY) [3] def. Katarina WEYMOUTH (GBR) 6-3 6-4

With only a tiny glimmer of hope in the doubles:

Sandra JAMRICHOVA (SVK) / Anna UREKE (RUS) [2] def. Lili FEKETE (HUN) / Dakota NORTON (GBR) 7-6(1) 7-5

(The other 3 girls lost in the first round of the doubles).

Added : SF : Sandra JAMRICHOVA (SVK) / Anna UREKE (RUS) [2]   def.      Jessica CRIVELLETTO (SUI) / Katarina WEYMOUTH (GBR)  6-1 6-1
