Win of the week for a Brit. I think Tara has genuine top 50 potential. Imagine if we had 3 Brits in the top 50 at the end of next year. Wow

Tara has come within a whisker of beating some A1 top players, has a super game and a couple of years on her side. Sam has lots of good stuff going on but I don't see quite the same margin for progress. However, I had money on her making the top 200 (when she was about WR250) so that's nice and there's always room for surprise.
But I think both could (should?) make the top 100. Although not by end-2014 (and certainly not top50 by end-2014).
I think, this time next year, both should definitely be aiming to be roughly where Jo is now - sort of round the WR120-130 area, knocking on the door so to speak . . .
(and, yes, Jo should be well inside the top 100 by then - round about 70-80 ?)

That does look an extremely good win for Tara and one I wasn't expecting.
With her first half of the year, culminating in her really good performance in defeat at Wimbledon, it would have been a real pity if Tara's season had relatively petered out.
She certainly to me has the ability to get her ranking much higher and would be good to see her get into the top 150 and move towards the top 100 next year.
