Coach Fitzy obviously did his job well - as did Sloane.  She won in 3 sets and is in the QF.

5-0* to Jade and Sam

I wouldn't say this is over yet though!

At stake:

- top 200 for Jade, edge of the top 150 for Sam if they win
- edge of the top 150 for Nik, edge of the top 200 for Mel if they win

Following on from this, Sam and Jade have broken into the WTA doubles top 150 and top 200 respectively - Sam up 10 at 148 and Jade up 26 at 186

They are also (up from outside the top 100 to 81st today) the first all-GB pair to have made the top 100 of the WTA Doubles Race towards the end of a season that I can remember

That doesn't mean they definitely are the first, I hasten to add ... but they might well be the first since the Doubles Race figures started to be regularly published.
