Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
Number 2 seed is out so if he wins his 2nd round match against Kapogiannis he'll be playing an unranked player in the QF's.
Richard is becoming the closest thing to a SF banker in these Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Israel type $10ks (where to be honest the draws often don't have depth), because he almost never has an off-day against lower ranked players - I have a number of digits crossed as I say this to avoid jinxing him this week. His challenge now is to turn all those SFs into a tournament wins requiring him to beat players ranked in the 200s and 300s. He has done this before, but rarely at the business end of Futures. It's going to happen soon though....I feel it!

Well, as the Greeks are his host, it would be impolite not to let their man win at least one game . . . 2*-1
NB I've got his Blackadder style picture in my mind of Richard the Ruthless and his side-kick, Dickie the Toothless . . . if only my mind would apply itself to more important things . . .
