Grigor Dimitrov

Tursunov is the only other one. Age 30, ranked 30.

Edit: Whoops! Tursunov isn't ranked 30!

But...

Gulbis. 25, 25.

pointless little fact that I just noticed about Grigor, his ranking currently matches his age (22).

Well, plenty of people in the present top 10 have mental ages that match their rankings.

Go, Grigor :)

It will be interesting to see how the rest of this year pans out.

Hard luck today, Grigor. Good effort in an at times very good match, although got a bit patchy at times, and it was a winnable match.

But certainly CONTINUING to move in the right direction. Into his first Slam SF and up to WR 9.

Yes, to my mind some still overhype him. But he certainly seems to me to currently have a good attitude re what he needs to do to get better, a decent coaching setup, and being with Sharapova certainly doesn't seem to have done his tennis any harm.

I like him.

But the British 'pundits' and his rapidly growing tit-head fanbase are doing him no favours.
