Well done Mr Pauffers! Hopefully a strong end to the year will set up a good platform for next year and big boost to the confidence which appears a big factor in Neil's game.
Good luck tomorrow, would be great for another 90's title!
Yes, maybe Neil was beginning to feel a bit left out. I am sure success for your peers must be some sort of motivating factor.
Certainly for GB, this has been the year of the 1990 guys, part of the generation that Roger Draper implied a year or so ago had missed the boat so it was time to really concentrate on the juniors and those just out of juniors.
Great to see Neil getting a few wins again. I don't really see him ever going beyond futures level but he is certainly one of the good guys of British Tennis and I have never heard a bad word said about him so I always wish him well.
Hmm, a tad worrying that this retiral has come with the match still tight and a few games at most from conclusion. We must just hope it's not been caused by anything too serious for Neil.
My ITF livescores has the 'retired' highlight on Moser's name, not Neil's. Does this mean that is was Moser who was injured ? This logic applied to a couple of recent retirements but it might just have been a 50:50 coincidence.

I am pretty sure that it always highlights the name of the first player regardless of who has retired.
