It is rather difficult to get a QF match not against a seed or someone who has taken out a seed LOL.

OK, you could get to play someone who had beaten someone who had beaten a seed or the seed could have withdrawn or retired....

Guess you just about have to be on your mettle whatever.

No surprise Wunner came back after losing the 1st set against Mies, perhaps - 'mies' is a German word I came across reading an Austrian novel recently and it's not a surname you'd wish on your worst enemy, especially a sportsman.
