where are the live scores please?

As with the vast majority of challengers they are on ATP live scores

Smethurst lost 5 games in a row and succumbed to a 6-2, 6-4 defeat. Disappointing but on current form not remotely surprising. He will drop 60-70 places in the rankings on Monday week.

There was an injury break for someone according to Bet365 at 1-2.

Shame for Dan S. Interesting that 5/8 Q seeds (including Dan) have gone out. Hope Ed doesn't follow suit.

The main draw is once again less than ideal.

L32: Daniel Cox WR 268 v (1) Denis Kudla (USA) WR 99
L32: Daniel Evans WR 157 v (5) Rhyne Williams (USA) WR 128

Oh, for pity's sake . . .

I wonder if Josh will fare any better than Dan against Nguyen.

A bit more info on the 29-year-old wild card Josh beat today if anyone is still interested:

He became a tennis coach after what sounds like a stellar college career (but I find it very hard to interpret what a lot of these college titles actually mean, so that may be wrong!) http://www.seebergertennis.com/aboutmatt.html

He is discussed at some length here (from 2010) - http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=312715
