Week 40 - Challenger ($100,000) - Sacramento, USA (Hard)

Broken six times today. Very sub-standard performance against a distinctly average opponent. Signs of the old Dan today. Good opportunity wasted this week. Very disappointing.

I didn't watch the match but I will say that it is disappointing but not hugely surprising. I always fear the worst whenever Dan has what should be a fairly easy match up and if it was wind effected then the result is even less surprising as Dan is a truly awful player in windy conditions. Were it not for my position of never betting against a British player I would have had a few quid on Jenkins.

How do you know there will be a stream?  I am delighted though!  I shall buy some beers and popcorn!

As Paulisi said Bet 365 will be streaming, but there are other links such as :-

Which is better in that you can go 'full screen' but worse in that  you have to cope with not getting caught up in the ads !!

Watching a bit of Kokkinakis and Kyrgios, is it any surprise that Dan E and Nick are such good friends ? They're practically clones of each other on court !!! Not the tennis/shot production etc. but in their mannerisms - Nick is all twitchy, and muttering, and racing between points as though he's got a train to catch (whereas Thanisi is all cool and languid) - it's just like a darker haired version of Dan.
The two of them playing doubles must be hilarious !

It's pretty windy out there and it seems to be straight down court.

Ginepri cannot cope and is getting battered by Ebden.

Evans is on court and held serve in the first game.

What's that infernal noise? Are they playing on a building site.

Jenkins has a big serve and is very mobile. This won't be that easy.

Wind.  Check out the trees in the background.  The could put a sock or something over the mic to stop to buffer it though.

Good break, whoever copes better with conditions will win. Dan playing it safe.

No, but the noise must be from very high winds. My stream is breaking up a lot, but you can clearly see the trees in the background taking one hell of a buffeting.

Some dodgy line calls going against Dan here. Jenkins looked to have hit it out about three times in that point and ended up winning it.

And goes on to win break straight back from 30-0 down. Loose game from Dan.

I think we might see a lot of "random" games from both players in these conditions. First set a bit of a lottery, but will be crucial.
