1) You find yourself wondering how Faraz Siddiqui got on in his Futures doubles 1st round in Sweden when you should be completing an important report at work.
2) When you press b in your browser address bar, the only thing that appears on the drop down menu is a list of bt threads
3) You tell your friends it's pronounced egg-o not ee-go
4 is deleted after a bit of negative feedback
5) When you make a hash of your most important job of the week on a Friday, you tell the boss, "Good week anyway, did well to get this far"
6) You know what a GEM is
7) You claim your child has "top 1500 potential"
Please continue the list, guys & girls. Could be some fun

When you take time to point out to anyone who cares that the result couldn't have possibly been 6-4 7-5 with 4 breaks of service to 1, because the winner could only have had one extra break in each set. So the match stats are wrong.
When you start keeping records of about the potential top 30 ranking points for 2 to 3 weeks ahead to see what chances guys have got of getting into Steven's top 25 table.
When the tention of watching the scores change on Bet365 or wherever becomes too much and you go away and "hide" for 10 minutes, hoping it will all look better when you come back ( I used to do that when actually watching Scotland World Cup matches ).
Deleted it, maybe went too far due to judgement impairing liquids. Just to prove I wish him no ill though, I'll let this message I sent our friend yesterday in response to some private message baiting by himself where he suggested we should meet up in real life and see if my gob is so big do the talking as it clarifies my position nicely. I'm not so bad really, and neither is he in the big picture. Overall he's not a nasty or malicious individual and is a positive influence in our national game which is what we all want.
Listen mate, no need for the confrontational stuff. Marcus really does seem like a top top lad, funny guy. Nice as pie, a real gentle fun geezer.
I and anyone else criticizing him is purely cause we want him to do well. He's one of my favourite British guys on the tour, and clearly a massive talent. Pass on to him my best wishes and I really hope that if he happens to see anyone's comments on his body then he doesn't take them to heart and instead responds in the best way.
As much as you annoy the bloody hell out of me :p you are clearly a massively positive influence on the lad, and I find it truly and genuinely touching and endearing how quickly and vociferously you jump to his defense. It's exactly what a young man finding his way as a professional athlete needs, and I hope you don't change that. Fight for him tooth and nail and he will fight to make sure your investment doesn't go to waste, I'm sure of it.
I'd like to thank you personally for investing in one of my favorite players and revitalising his career. I hope Marcus appreciates it as much as we all do and gets himself into prime tip top shape for an assault on the top 100 in the coming years cause I know he's talented enough!
Good luck to you my man, no hard feelings.

I can identify with a few of those (oops!) and 5 made me laugh the most, with 1 pretty funny too
4 is surely unacceptable though - it's only because I imagine it'll be like water off a duck's back to the subject that I didn't go in and edit it out. I mean, as 'head thread merger' over the last couple of days, I totally get the irritation but there must be plenty of funnier (and less nasty) A1-related quips available ...

Cheers. I'm rediscovering tennis (and automatically, this messageboard) once again after my love for it went cold in the last few years. It's all because of A1 making this place enjoyable once again, and Coxy regaining a bit of the old magic.
