I can only say that Marcus is extremely happy , his morale is very high , and we have appointed 2 new specialist coaches & yes and Paul Siviter a Great guy from Fila has done us a generous deal on new kit for bomb and the Aegon team .
Well, I did rough check with respect to replies and noticed something bizarre. The two most active overseas Futures threads relate to tournaments played in Falun! They have 278 and 268 replies...
If it already weren't confusing enough, with the number of people called "Lewis" involved in this topic (I make it Burton, Thompson, A1, and at least one of A1's uncles!), this article was penned by Lewis Rudd.

Thought some people might be interested to know that having passed the 8000 views mark, this is now the 3rd most viewed thread for a Futures event outside the UK on the forum. It may yet overtake 2nd placed Cartagena 2013, a thread that turned from Kyle-watch to Busta-watch with Bob's reports direct from the tournament, but it is still thousands of views behind the thread for Herzlia 2012, where Fitzy won his first Futures singles title.
Threads for GB Futures (especially those held in Bath, for some reason) tend to get a lot more hits than threads for overseas Futures (hardly surprising given that a lot more Brits tend to be playing in each one) and Challenger threads tend to get more views than Futures threads even if there are only a couple of Brits in them, if the Brits do well.

(There, another step closer to taking this thread to no. 1. )

And this one comes fourth. Of course, I was checking it manually, so there could be omissions.
There's always a reason - Falun 2007 & 2008 had a live webcam (probably one of the first Futures events ever to do so) and quite a few Brits taking part, so we were probably fascinated by the novelty of it all, with people gazing in awe and providing point by point commentary posts for those who couldn't watch at the time. That sounds like us, doesn't it?
The Herzlia thread is the one with the most views that I mentioned above, i.e. Fitzy's first title.
